A quick thanks: a new annual subscriber unwittingly made this teach-in possible! That contribution went toward a month-long Zoom webinar subscription, allowing us to have this conversation in a focused, accessible way. Thanks for helping support our growing communities.

If you missed the teach-in last night, please see the recording above. To those of you who attended, thanks for making the time! Please let me know in the comments if you think it would be valuable for me to host more of these. The only way I know how to battle the instability of these times is with information and care for one another—this is how those two impulses translate for me.

If you want to read

’s books, look for Red State Christians and her new book, coming next week, Disciples of White Jesus. Last night, she also mentioned two of her stories in US Catholic Magazine, one on Catholic trads and another on Catholic classical schools.

Angela kindly referenced my book Disobedient Women a few times, which I suspect most of you know about already. Also, we talked a bit about the SAVE Act, but did not get into detail. If you want to learn more, check out my recent story for The New Republic.

Last, I’ll be away on spring break next week, but will come back with reflections on whatever nonsense happens while I’m away. Stay strong out there.
